Candi is an LPN for Brookhaven who has a true passion in caring for children, especially those with special needs as she is the mother of a special needs child of her own. She graduated from Copiah Lincoln Community College in 2007 and began her nursing career at her local children’s clinic. With a desire to help in a larger capacity she moved into the newborn field where she worked for 6 years. During this time she got married and started her family through adoption followed by the birth of two biological children over the next several years. Being a mom of 3 and one with special needs she quickly realized how hard it can be. She began working with PediCare part-time in 2018 and felt a calling to make it her full-time job. She wanted to help in any way she could to expand awareness about our services and help as many families as she could. This is when the Nurse Coordinator position seemed to fit her goals for our company and she was moved into her new position. She desires for families to know that they don’t have to do this alone and that there is always someone in their corner.
What does she have to say?
I am here to help in any way I can. I want families to have someone who wants the best for their child. I promise to help provide caring, competent, and loving nurses to help manage your child’s care. I also want to be an encouragement to the families who I know are fighting a daily battle to care for their children to the best of their ability.
